Design and geometry in NYC’s unique architectural forms create endless dynamic visual displays of contours, color, light and shadow. A favorite perspective of mine is to look skyward to capture the expansive views. I also seek to capture the relationships between man-made constructions and nature. The contrast, discord and harmony fascinate me. Sometimes, the hard edges of the buildings are balanced by the soft fluid lines of trees. In this series I also include store windows and the dynamic panoply of intersecting lines, shapes and design I discover in the most unexpected places.
